Double Life

Double Life is a collection of unruly poems that celebrate and sing the praises of literature, transformation, and imagination. You’ll find motley shifts of voice and a perforated language, poetic speeches and hidden traces where the poet insists on being free from binding identities, definitions, and demands for stylistic consistency. The book is full of fluid transitions, stubborn memory, history, and inheritance. Commissioned for the 2022 Møllebyen Literature Festival, the book offers an open-ended interpretation of the festival’s theme: “radical hope.”
