Metres per Second by Stine Pilgaard sold to WSOY in Finland

January 28 2021

I loved Meter per Second!
It’s funny, tender, surprising – a novel that makes you laugh out loud and then touches you deeply in the next moment. There are beautiful observations about how people live their lives, observations about parenthood, community, relations. Just like its main character the Letterbox (!), the novel is quirky, funny, a bit crazy but so very loveable! Very proud to be able to bring Stine’s book for Finnish readers!
– says Leena Balme in WSOY, Finland.

This novel for our times, is awarded The Weekendsavisen’s Literature Prize 2020 will find new readers in Dutch, English, German, Norwegian and Swedish – more languages to come as well as adaptation to film (rights by Nordisk Film).
