Fosse to Russia

March 12 2018

This spring, Jon Fosse will be published in Russian for the very first time. Twelve of Fosse’s iconic plays, including Draum om Hausten (Dream of Autumn), Nokon Kjem til å Komme (Someone is Going to Come), and Skuggar (Shadows) will be published by AST Publishers. In addition, The Trilogy will be published in the notable literary journal Literatura Innostranya.

These publications coincide with the inaugural Russian Fosse-festival this April. Through a joint collaboration between multiple Russian theatre organisations and the Norwegian Embassy several of the translated plays will be staged and introduced by Fosse experts.
