These Are Different Days by Ruth Lillegraven

October 12 2020

These are Different Days is a collection of narrative poems which takes us back to that spring, to home schooling and the local forest – to a life which was abruptly constricted. Simultaneously, the book takes giant leaps: out into the world, into history and into the future –
from a village nestled in the mountains to the thawing permafrost in Alaska. Because outside the tiny bubble of life at a standstill in Norway, the world with all its crises and conflicts stands knocking.

Press says: Ruth Lillegraven’s contribution to COVID literature is a necessary memento mori.
