Jens Kristensen is the winner of the Norwegian Cultural Ministry prize for best illustrations for the first two books in The Planet Rescue Club written by Ruth Lillegraven. German translator Hinrich Schmidt-Henkel has been awarded the inaugural Fosse Prize for Translators. ’Hinrich has been instrumental in bringing not only the work of Jon Fosse, but of many outstanding Norwegian authors, to German readers—and for that, we are eternally grateful,’ says Gina Winje.
