Haveland are nominated o the prestigious 2020 Warwick Prize for Women in Translation for Scribe UK’s edition of The Way Through the Woods: Of Mushrooms and Mourning in Barbaras translation. German translator Hinrich Schmidt-Henkel has been awarded the inaugural Fosse Prize for Translators. ’Hinrich has been instrumental in bringing not only the work of Jon Fosse, but of many outstanding Norwegian authors, to German readers—and for that, we are eternally grateful,’ says Gina Winje.
