The plot takes place on the farm where Vanja lives. One day, after the animals, have been let out to graze they fall ill and Vanja and Sivert’s cottage in the forest where they usually play, is demolished and the refuse littered throughout the countryside. Who is tearing down the cottage and building new? And who is dumping the waste that is hurting the animals?
