German translator Hinrich Schmidt-Henkel has been awarded the inaugural Fosse Prize for Translators. ’Hinrich has been instrumental in bringing not only the work of Jon Fosse, but of many outstanding Norwegian authors, to German readers—and for that, we are eternally grateful,’ says Gina Winje.
Chiquitita is heading to Germany, where it will be published by the prestigious Luchterhand Literaturverlag, and the UK, where it will be one of the first books the brand-new Akoya Publishing will be launching with.
